How to get all four uploads ready
- Start with your photo. Add a recent colour photo against a light, preferably white, wall.
- Save it. ReadyFile then offers the next upload: signature, thumb impression, declaration.
- For each one, use white paper. Sign with a black pen, press your left thumb on a black or blue ink pad, and write the declaration in English with a black pen.
- Check the ticks for each file, then save it. Upload each file to its own place in the form.

Source: IBPS “Guidelines for scanning and upload of documents” (CRP PO/MT-XV, 2025), and the same rules in IBPS notices from 2026. Rules can differ between recruitments, so compare with the notice for yours. The declaration page has the exact wording to copy.
Before you upload
- Your signature on the exam day must match the one you upload, or you can be disqualified. Sign the way you always do.
- No left thumb? The notice lists which finger to use instead, and asks you to write which finger it is on the upload.
- Upload each file in its own box: photo in the photo box, signature in the signature box.
Questions
What size are the IBPS photo, signature, thumb and declaration?
From the official IBPS guidelines: photo 200 × 230 pixels, 20–50 KB; signature 140 × 60 pixels, 10–20 KB; left thumb impression 240 × 240 pixels, 20–50 KB; hand-written declaration 800 × 400 pixels, 50–100 KB. All JPG. Check the notice for your recruitment.
Do I still need to take a live photo?
Yes. IBPS also asks for a live photo taken during the application with your webcam or phone. That one is taken on the IBPS site itself, so no tool can make it for you.
Can I photograph my signature with my phone?
The notices ask you to sign on white paper with a black pen. At least one 2026 notice says a photo of the signature taken with a mobile phone will not be accepted. If yours says that, scan the signature and use ReadyFile only to get the scan to the right size.
The portal says my file is too small. Why?
Some portals count 1 KB as 1,024 bytes. ReadyFile keeps every file above the minimum using that stricter count, so a "10 KB minimum" file is at least 10,240 bytes.
Can I sign in capital letters?
No. The notices say signatures and declarations in capital letters will not be accepted. Sign the way you normally do.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Everything happens in your browser. Your files never leave your device.
