Terms of use

The rules for using ReadyFile. Plain English, no surprises.

Last updated 22 Oct 2026

These terms apply when you use usereadyfile.com (“ReadyFile”), run by Bijay Thakur, based in Kathmandu, Nepal. By using the site, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

1. The service

ReadyFile provides free tools that resize, compress, convert and check files so they match the rules of online forms. The tools run in your browser. We may add, change or remove tools at any time.

2. Your responsibility

  • Check the requirements in your official notice or portal before you upload. Requirements change, and a form may differ from our preset.
  • Make sure the photo, signature or document you submit is genuinely yours, or that you are allowed to submit it.
  • Keep your own copy of the original file.

3. Acceptable use

You must not use ReadyFile to:

  • create forged, altered or misleading identity documents, certificates or official records;
  • impersonate another person or submit someone else’s photo or signature as your own;
  • process content that is illegal or that you have no right to use;
  • disrupt, overload, scrape or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site.

4. Your files

You keep all rights to the files you use. Because processing happens on your device, we do not receive, store or claim any rights to them.

5. Our content

The site’s design, text, guides and code belong to us or our licensors. You may use the tools and share links to our pages, but you may not copy or republish our content as your own without permission.

The site shows ads and may contain links, some of them affiliate links, to other websites. We are not responsible for other websites, their content or their products. See our disclaimer.

7. Paid features

If we offer paid features in future, such as removing ads or batch processing, extra terms will apply to them and will be shown before you buy.

8. No guarantee

The tools are provided “as is”. We work hard to keep presets accurate, but we do not guarantee that a file will be accepted by any portal, office or authority, or that the site will always be available or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for losses from a rejected application, missed deadline, or lost data, arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. If you are a consumer, you also keep any rights the law of your own country gives you.
