The short version
- Files you use with our tools are processed on your device. We never receive them.
- We don't ask you to create an account.
- We count visits without cookies to keep the site working and improve it.
- We plan to show Google ads. Before they start, we will ask for consent where the law requires it.
Who we are
ReadyFile (usereadyfile.com) is run by Bijay Thakur, based in Kathmandu, Nepal (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal data described in this policy.
Your files
Photos, signatures and documents you open in our tools are processed by code running in your own browser. They are not uploaded to our servers or to anyone else’s, and we cannot see, store or share them. When you save a file, it goes straight to your device.
Saving re-creates the image, which removes hidden data such as camera details and GPS location.
What we collect

Advertising
We plan to show ads through Google AdSense. Ads are not switched on yet; this section describes how they will work. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites, and to measure them. Google’s use of advertising cookies is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services (opens in new tab).
If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, we will ask for your consent before personalised ads or non-essential cookies are used, and you will be able to change your choice at any time from the “Privacy choices” link in the footer.
You can manage personalised advertising from Google at My Ad Center (opens in new tab). Ads never have access to the files you use in our tools.
Legal bases
Where data protection law such as the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working website (logs and basic statistics), your consent (personalised advertising and non-essential cookies), and your request (replying to your messages).
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share limited data only with service providers who help us run the site:
- Hosting, security and usage statistics: Cloudflare (Cloudflare Web Analytics, no cookies)
- Email: Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages to our Gmail inbox (Google)
- Advertising, once switched on: Google AdSense
International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States. Where required, they use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. Because we don’t run accounts or receive your files, we usually hold very little about you.
To make a request, email us. We will reply within 30 days.
Children
ReadyFile is a general tool, not designed for children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and because files never leave your device, there is no store of user files to breach. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the data we hold to a minimum.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If a change is significant, we will say so on the site.
